Dr. Rex M. Rogers is an author, speaker, and President, SAT-7 USA, the American advancement arm for SAT-7, a spiritually strategic Christian satellite television ministry by and for people of the Middle East and North Africa. From Cyprus, SAT-7 broadcasts four channels of quality, influential programming in three languages, Arabic, Farsi, and Turkish, reaching across seven time zones into more than seventy countries, twenty-two in the Middle East and North Africa.

Dr. Rogers is writing Be One of God's Unlikely Leaders--Live With Focus, Get Things Done. This book enables people to become influencers, the kind of people God empowers to change the world.

Dr. Rogers is the author of Gambling: Don’t Bet On It (Kregel, 2005), previously published as Seducing America: Is Gambling a Good Bet? (Baker, 1997). He testified before the Michigan Legislature and participated in more than 175 media interviews on gambling, including “Janet Parshall’s America,” Moody Radio’s “Open Line,” Dr. James Dobson’s “Focus on the Family,” “Pastor to Pastor: Difficult Issues” with Rev. H.B. London, Jr., CBN News with Lee Webb, “100 Huntley Street” broadcast throughout Canada, and “Connected Coast to Coast” with Ron Reagan and Monica Crowley for MSNBC.

In 2003, Dr. Rogers published Christian Liberty: Living for God in a Changing Culture (Baker). This book discusses how to interact with social and cultural change, including the so-called “Christian culture wars” and the threat of moral relativism in postmodern culture.

Dr. Rogers and Dr. Rick Amidon co-authored Today You Do Greatness (forthcoming). Greatness shares an engaging fictional narrative juxtaposed with critical commentary about competing definitions of success and leadership in contemporary culture.

From 1993 to 2009, Dr. Rogers wrote and recorded “Making a Difference,” a daily radio feature applying biblical principles to a wide range of contemporary issues and concerns. From 2003 to 2008, “Making a Difference” was syndicated weekly in print to more than 100 newspapers in 33 states. In January, 2010, he launched a new column called “Good News from the Middle East” available on the SAT-7 USA website.

From 1991 to 2008, Dr. Rogers served as the visionary president of Cornerstone University, Grand Rapids, MI. He was responsible for Cornerstone University’s three-part enterprise: the undergraduate college, the graduate program including Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and Asia Baptist Theological Seminary based in Singapore, and a Christian radio division involving three radio stations, an internationally syndicated program called “Mission Network News,” and a nationally distributed children’s radio ministry called “His Kids Radio.” Dr. Rogers has also provided leadership and fundraising consulting for non-profit organizations.

Dr. Rogers holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati, an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Akron, and a B.A. in Social Science from Cedarville University. He speaks regularly in churches, schools, commencements and other special events, business environments, and conferences. Dr. Rogers and his wife of 35 years, Sarah, have four adult children and four grandsons.
